SWIMMING POOL
The sparkling, cold-water swimming pool has a view over the Elim Dune and
is the perfect place to relax in, after climbing the dunes of Sossusvlei.
Sun loungers and pool towels are available to guests.
Being right next to the dining area, the pool looks beautifully inviting
for a midnight plunge. The swimming pool is open all year round, but the
winter evenings in the desert might be a bit cold for a swim.
RESTAURANT
Three meals per day are included in the delightful culinary experience
of typically Namibian cuisine, served by the first-class restaurant and
skilled chefs. The open sided dining area with luxurious, leather seating
is the ideal place for dining under the stars. Wi-Fi is available at the
public areas.
There is no shortage of meats on the menu and guests are likely to be impressed
by the variety of food supplied by the chefs, right in the middle of the
desert. The staff are always eager to prepare and serve the rich tapestry
of Namibian Cuisine.
CLIMATE CONTROLLED CHALETS
The tented chalets give you the impression of a nomadic lifestyle, having
a light footprint on the desert sands, but the climate-controlling air-conditioner
create the perfect environment for relaxation.
The beautiful interiors of the chalets add to the luxurious experience
with plush carpets and lavish couches in which to sink away.
PRIVATE DECK
Enjoy the views over the breathtaking desert landscape surrounding the
Dead Valley Lodge from the privacy of the deck of your tented chalet. Wildlife
walking by just adds to the feeling of being part of the natural environment.
Take note that the Dead Valley Lodge do not cater for children under six,
making this a beautifully romantic option for couples. Rooms are non-smoking
and a fan and safety deposit box is available.
EN-SUITE BATHROOM
Private and free standing en-suite bathrooms with dual basins, showers
with hot and cold water and flush toilets add to the luxury and comfort
of your stay at Dead Valley Lodge.
Towels as well as a hair dryer is supplied at each chalet. Laundry and
ironing services are available on request at an additional charge.
